From chord MIDI to a piano part that moves

A chord progression can be musically right but still feel static on a piano track. Melody Arranger gives that harmony a playable role: load or capture the chords, select the movement and density that suit the section, then generate a piano arrangement that follows the progression.

Choose the character before you commit

The 157-theme library is organized around four practical piano roles. Open is spacious and sustained, Broken keeps the harmony moving, Chordal adds dense voicings and Active brings more syncopated comping. Hover over a numbered theme for its descriptor, preview options with the DAW transport stopped, then generate the selected direction.

Keep the result editable

Melody Arranger is designed to speed up the draft, not lock it away. The finished result can be saved as a standard MIDI file or dragged into the DAW, where you can change the instrument, edit notes and velocity, or combine the arrangement with your own performance.

Key features

  • Start from existing chord MIDI instead of building every piano movement note by note.
  • Choose from 157 curated themes in four focused families: Open, Broken, Chordal and Active.
  • Adapt the selected phrase to the source harmony, including chord roots and bass inversions.
  • Preview the selected theme and generated result through the built-in Keyzone Classic 4 piano sound.
  • Export a standard MIDI arrangement with tempo, meter and phrase controller data, then continue editing in the DAW.
  • Work entirely from the embedded phrase library with no account, internet connection or separate player required for normal use.

FAQ

Quick answers to the most common product and setup questions.

What kind of MIDI should I give Melody Arranger?

Use a chord progression. The plugin analyzes the harmonic content of a loaded or captured MIDI part and turns it into a piano accompaniment. A single dedicated chord track gives the most predictable result.

How many piano themes are included?

The built-in library contains 157 curated themes: 33 Open, 33 Broken, 33 Chordal and 58 Active patterns.

Can I hear the result before exporting it?

Yes. Melody Arranger includes a Keyzone Classic 4 piano preview for selected themes and generated playback inside the plugin.

Does Melody Arranger send generated MIDI live to my DAW?

No. Save the generated result as a standard MIDI file or drag MIDI Out into the DAW, then continue editing it on any instrument track.

Does it require an account or internet connection to arrange MIDI?

No. The embedded phrase library works locally. An account is only needed after release to access a purchased download.

Which plug-in formats are included?

The current release supports macOS AU and VST3, plus Windows and Linux VST3 builds.

How do I install it?

On macOS, open the signed and notarized Melody Arranger .pkg installer, then restart or rescan plugins in the DAW. On Windows and Linux, copy the VST3 bundle to the standard VST3 folder, rescan the plugin list, then load or capture a chord MIDI part before generating an arrangement.

How do I access older purchases from the previous store?

If you had an older Bitsonic or Ecwid account, open the login page with the same email address and use the password reset or activation flow. After signing in, your older purchases linked to that email will appear on your profile download page.
